3. Site users, recipients of personal data protection

The personal data protection policy applies to all users browsing the Site.

When you create a Customer Account and/or place an order, SHELYAK INSTRUMENTS collects personal data in order to conclude the Contract, carry it out, manage it and issue invoices.

It may also collect personal data when subscribing to the newsletter.

4. Legal basis and purposes of personal data processing

The collection of personal data allows SHELYAK INSTRUMENTS to manage its website.

It allows :

SHELYAK INSTRUMENTS undertakes not to use the data collected for purposes other than those mentioned above (unless required to do so by a competent judicial and/or administrative authority).

6. Duration and conditions of storage of collected data

Your data is kept in an active database for the duration of the Contract or 3 years from the last contact with you, and in an archive database for 5 years, the duration of the statute of limitations under common law.

In the case of newsletter subscriptions, data is retained until the subscriber unsubscribes.

The recipient of the data is SHELYAK INSTRUMENTS. However, SHELYAK INSTRUMENTS reserves the right to transmit all or part of its customers’ personal data to its subcontractors for the purposes of the Contract, and in particular for the execution of any order.

Depending on the place of delivery in the world, SHELYAK INSTRUMENTS may transfer personal data to a recipient outside the European Union, for the purposes of the order.

SHELYAK INSTRUMENTS undertakes to take all necessary precautions to protect the security of the data communicated and, in particular, to prevent it from being distorted, damaged or accessed by unauthorized third parties.

7. Duration and conditions of storage of collected data

You have the right to ask SHELYAK INSTRUMENTS to access, rectify, delete or port your personal data. You may also request a restriction on processing or object to the processing of your data. You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your data at any time.
