All about the product:
The Alpy 600 requires a guiding module if you are using it on your telescope. This guiding module is designed to work with a guiding camera.
If pointing and guiding your telescope with a second camera (guiding camera) seems too complex, this accessory can help. With this eyepiece holder, you replace the camera with a simple 1.25″ eyepiece and you can guide by eye.
Of course, a guiding camera will be more efficient (especially for long exposures!), but if you’re only observing bright targets (easy to find and for which exposure times are short), then this is a very relevant solution.
This accessory was requested by university teachers who regularly organize observation sessions with their students and the Alpy 600. It’s complicated enough to manage a CCD camera (the science camera) for this kind of practical work!
For a 1.25″ eyepiece.
Ideal for evening practical work on bright stars.
